3D Modeling and Printing - Tuxedo Bird

The printer that I used for the first test run is the Ultimaker Extended 2+ which was provided by the MMU 3D printing lab. The filament used is the Polyterra PLA which was provided to us by the Lab, This PLA was paid for 1RM per gram which was convenient as we didn't have to buy a big bulk of Polyterra PLA.
After processing the 3d file, The first step is to change the format to Gcode and send it to the printer by transferring it into an SD card and inserting it into the printer
Before starting with the painting process, i created color mockups for both versions using photoshop. This helped me create a clearer idea of how the final outcome would look
In conclusion, Although this is my first time studying 3D modeling and printing, I managed to learn all the softwares at a fast pace and was able to come up with a good 3D print despite the issues faced along the way. Watching my 3D model become a physical object was so rewarding, I enjoyed every process and I am very thankful for the resources provided to me by my lecturers. Overall, it was very satisfying to see the final outcome.
